Installing the Runbook Server
To start the installation of the runbook server, log on to the server using an account that is a member of the local administrators group. Then initiate the Orchestrator Setup Wizard by executing the startup file (SetupOrchestrator.exe) from the installation media or an ISO file, or use a copy of the setup files from a shared network location.
Once the wizard has started, use the following steps to perform the installation:
1. From the System Center Orchestrator 2012 Setup screen, shown previously in Figure 17.1, under Standalone Installations, click on Runbook Server. If Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 has not yet been installed on the system, a dialog box appears asking if you want to install this prerequisite. ...
