Summary
This chapter provided a primer on System Center Orchestrator 2012, allowing anyone unfamiliar with the technology to gain an understanding of what this product is and how it can be used to increase the efficiency of IT operations. System Center Orchestrator is an extremely powerful tool that allows the automation of workflows involving multiple systems, without requiring scripting knowledge. Although it should be evident that Orchestrator offers significant benefits to larger enterprises with many systems being managed, even smaller organizations can improve the efficiency of their daily IT operations by consolidating repetitive tasks into automated workflows using Orchestrator.
