Creating a Service Offering

A service offering is a catalog item that is visible to Service Manager portal users. Service offerings are used to group related request offerings together. In this example, we create a service offering named General Requests and populate it with the Create Incident request offering created in the previous set of steps.

To create the service offering, complete the following steps:

1. Launch the Service Manager console.

2. Select the Library space.

3. Expand the Service Catalog folder and select Service Offerings.

4. In the Tasks pane, click the Create Service Offering link.

5. Review the information on the Before You Begin screen, and then click Next to continue.
