Creating a Request Offering

A request offering is a predefined action that can be made available to users through the Self-Service Web Portal. In this example, we create a request offering named Create Incident. This request offering is similar to the generic incident request, but includes the ability to attach a file. In the next example, this request offering will then be listed under the General Requests service offering for display on the Self-Service Web Portal.

To create the request offering, complete the following steps:

1. Launch the Service Manager console.

2. Select the Library space.

3. Expand the Service Catalog folder and select Request Offerings.

4. In the Tasks pane, click the Create Request Offering link.
