Holding, Resuming, and Cancelling a Change Request

A change request is just that, a request. As with any request, there is a possibility of additional questions and even rejection. If a change request is not acceptable for some reason, the reviewer can take the following actions with the change request:

Put on Hold—A change request that is put on hold can be resumed after further review, clarification, or modifications to the request.

Cancel—A change request can be cancelled, which is permanent. Once cancelled, a change request cannot be resumed. A new request would need to be submitted.

Change requests can also be restarted. The change reviewer can take the following actions with a change request:
