Change Request Workflows

The manager of the IT department wants to be notified via email of any high-priority change requests that are submitted.

To configure a workflow for high-priority change request notification, complete the following steps:

1. Launch the Service Manager console.

2. Select the Administration space.

3. Expand the Workflows node.

4. Select the Configuration folder.

5. Select the Change Request Event Workflow Configuration object.

6. Select the Configure Workflow Rules link in the Task pane.

7. Click Add to add a new workflow.

8. At the introduction screen, click Next.

9. Enter a Name for the workflow, such as High-Priority Change Requests Workflow.
