Incident and Problem Reports

Reports help analysts, administrators, and management view and understand what is happening with incident and problem work items. This is useful to track the ebb and flow of issues, as well as understand how well the IT department is handling the workload.

The default reports are included in the report library management packs, specifically:

• Incident Management Report Library

• Problem Management Report Library

The reports pull data from the data warehouse. The data warehouse must be installed, the Service Manager management group must be registered, and the Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) jobs must be run for data to be available for reports.
