Service Manager Notifications

Service Manager notifications allow emails to be delivered to help desk personnel, analysts, administrators, and end users notifying them of additions, changes, and deletions of the records that matter to them. The notification architecture is very deep and granular, allowing notification on any Service Manager object and on almost any condition.

In addition to configuring the notification infrastructure, this section creates a sample notification. For this example, the network engineer for the company needs to get a high-priority email message when a network incident is created.
