VMM Administrator Console

As discussed in Chapter 12, the Administrator Console is a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) that is built upon Windows PowerShell and can be used to complete the following tasks:

• Adding hosts

• Creating host groups

• Managing hosts

• Managing host clusters

• Configuring the VMM library

• Creating private clouds

• Creating VMs

• Deploying and migrating VMs

• Managing VMs

• Configuring the Self-Service Portal

• Monitoring and reporting

• Administering and managing roles
