Dragging and Dropping the Virtual Machine onto a Host Group

This process is the same as dragging and dropping the virtual machine onto a host server, as described previously, with a few differences. Instead of dropping the virtual machine onto a specific host, the virtual machine is dropped onto a host group that contains one or more hosts. Then Automatic Placement, as explained earlier in this chapter, automatically places the virtual machine on the most suitable host in the selected host group. Host selection is based on host ratings.
