This chapter focused on how System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 can be used to protect Microsoft operating systems and server applications. As shown in this chapter, DPM can be used to protect a wide number of Microsoft solutions, including, but not limited to, Exchange Server, SQL Server, and SharePoint farms. Based on the information provided in this chapter, you should now have a better understanding as to how these solutions each have their own special data protection needs.
