Data Protection Manager 2010 and DPM 2010 Service Pack 1
The next major version, Data Protection Manager 2010, released during the first half of 2010, contained a number of improvements over the 2007 SP1 release of DPM, including improved client protection, which can take place while the machines are online or offline. In addition, this version can protect virtual machines that are moved across Cluster Shared Volumes on Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V using the Live Migration feature.
