Step Two: Define the Project Scope

The next step of the DPM-planning process is to define the scope of the DPM deployment project. While completing this task, it is important to ensure that the goals of the project are aligned to the business requirements for data protection, business continuity, and disaster recovery. To begin this process, use the information gathered from the first step of the planning process to identify the information systems that should be protected using DPM.
