Remote SQL Instance Requirements

Data Protection Manager 2012 supports the following versions of SQL Server where DPM writes configuration information and utilizes it to report of the status of DPM jobs:

• SQL Server 2008, Standard or Enterprise Editions

• SQL Server 2008 R2, Standard or Enterprise Editions

Note

Clustered installations of SQL Server are not supported.
