Exporting a Management Pack
A frequent administrative task for the OpsMgr administrator is to export a management pack. This is an easy way to back up a management pack or to move a custom management pack from the development/testing environment to production.
To export a management pack, complete the following steps:
1. Navigate to the Administration view and select Management Packs.
2. Select the desired unsealed management pack.
3. In the Actions pane, click Export Management Packs.
4. The Browse for Folder window opens; use the location c:\TEMP\MP_EXP (if the location does not exist, create it), click OK, and then click OK again.
Note
Only unsealed management packs can be exported.
