Using the Web Console

The Web console can be thought of as a light mobile version of the full console, using forms-based authentication through Internet Information Services (IIS). Permission application does not happen at the IIS level, but through the Operations Manager console in the Administration view. The Web console does not cache any information, and is noticeably slower with data retrieving. Similar to the full console, the Web console attaches to the MS but with less overhead.
