Exploring the Operations Manager Management Pack
The Operations Manager Management Pack monitors the overall health of the Operations Manager infrastructure. The Operations Manager infrastructure monitoring is divided into three major categories: Agent, Management Server(s), and Health Service. Within these categories, performance metrics are captured and console-based tasks can be executed.
Note
The Operations Manager Management Pack is imported during the installation, unlike the other management packs discussed in this chapter. The other management packs must be imported manually.
Updating this management pack is necessary as updates become available.
