OperationsManager Database Backup
The OperationsManager database contains most of the Operations Manager environment configuration settings, agent information, management packs with customizations, operations data, and other data required for Operations Manager to operate properly.
The loss of the OperationsManager database requires a complete rebuild of the Operations Manager 2012 infrastructure.
Note
During the backup, the OperationsManager database will be offline. However, the Operations Manager caches incoming data, and then inserts that data into the database when it comes back online.
