Enabling and Synchronizing the AI Catalog
To enable Asset Intelligence, the Asset Intelligence Synchronization Point needs to be deployed. Only one Synchronization Point can be deployed in the Configuration Manager hierarchy; this is done at the Central Administration Site. The Asset Intelligence Synchronization Point role can be installed on the server CM1 from the Sites node in the Administration space in the ConfigMgr console.
Note
The Asset Intelligence Synchronization Point does not need a certificate to be specified during installation of the role. The certificate is automatically downloaded from Microsoft System Center Online Services during synchronization.
