Viewing Custom Inventory Data
All inventoried hardware, custom hardware extensions, hardware inventory history, and software file data can be viewed from within the Configuration Manager console.
To view inventory data from the ConfigMgr console, do the following:
1. From within the ConfigMgr console, select the Assets and Compliance space.
2. Expand Overview and select Device Collection.
3. Select the collection that contains the test computer (WS2).
4. Select the test computer, and then select the Start, Resource Explorer action.
5. Use the Resource Explorer tool to view hardware and software inventory.
