Configuring Client Settings for Inventory Collection
To enable inventory collection, the Hardware Inventory Client Agent and the Software Inventory Client Agent need to be configured and enabled. Both client agents can be accessed from the Client Agents node within the Configuration Manager console.
To access the Client Agents node, complete the following steps:
1. Open the Configuration Manager console and select the Administration space.
2. Expand Site Configuration.
3. Select Client Settings.
4. Right-click the Default Client Settings and select Properties.
