Preparing Applications and Deployment Types
Application and deployment types can be installed as part of the OS deployment on a target system. To prepare for OS deployment, an additional deployment type should be added to the existing package or an existing program can be modified with the correct settings to support OS deployment.
The OS Deployment Wizard does not allow selection of applications unless these options are configured correctly. Earlier in this chapter, an application was created for Microsoft Office 2010. The package contains a deployment type called Install for Primary Systems.
