Deploying Software Self-Service

When the Distribution Points have received the content, the software can be deployed to users as self-service applications. When software is deployed self-service, the user has the ability to execute the software when it’s convenient for him or her. To deploy the software, a deployment needs to be created.

To create the Office 2010 self-service deployment for the Directors group, complete the following steps:

1. Select the Software Library space in the console.

2. Expand the Application Management folder and select the Applications container.

3. Right-click the Office 2010 application and select Deploy.

4. In the Collection section, click Browse.
