Application Management

Application management provides a way to publish and distribute software to user targets and managed system targets. The application management features provide a reliable method to deploy and update software while maintaining control over the different aspects of delivery. From who gets licensed software to how much bandwidth is available in remote locations can all be defined through the Configuration Manager Administration Console.

There are two forms of application management, the traditional Packages and the new Applications.
