When you launch entertainment apps, you’ll see the Xbox branding. The Music app is where you buy music, but it is also where you play your music. It has a slick interface that works with the divider bar, so you can snap the app and control music while using another app on the tablet.

Although the interface is sharp—with album art and music tiles—there are some maneuvers that feel reminiscent of the previous Windows media players. For example, it’s not immediately clear how to add music to your My Music folder. You will need to access the traditional file structure on the Desktop to make music accessible from the Music app.
