Chapter 7. Report Server Project Wizard

The easiest way to start working with SSRS 2008 is to actually use the Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS) Report Server Project Wizard to develop a simple report. Report Server Project Wizard walks you through all the steps (workflow) to create a new project.

Note

Today’s wider availability of 64-bit platforms adds more complexities to authoring and deploying reports. If you are just starting with report development, we recommend practicing on a 32-bit platform, using SQL Server as a data source for your reports.
