Chapter III.4. Setting Query Options
When executing queries in the SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) query window, you have the capability to modify how these queries execute by using the Query Options page. Two categories of query options can be manipulated:
Execution: You can select General, Advanced, and ANSI standard options to use when executing your queries.
Results: You can select various formatting options depending on whether you want your results in a grid format or a text format.
