Merge Replication and Resolving Conflicts—Hands-on Example
The following section walks through creating a merge publication, subscribing to the merge publication, and using the conflict resolution manager. The following prerequisites apply to the exercise:
Your SQL Server is configured to use a distribution database (local or remote; for details on adding a distribution database, see Chapter 27).
The pubs database is enabled for Merge Replication publication.
In this exercise, perform the following steps:
