Using the DTS Wizard
DTS supplies two wizards that allow a user to interactively define the tasks for a package: the Import Wizard and the Export Wizard. As with the other wizards in SQL 2000, you access the Import and Export Wizards by selecting Tools, Wizards. Alternatively, you can launch the wizards by right-clicking Data Transformations Packages and selecting New Import or New Export.
NOTE
The Import and Export Wizards are essentially the same, except for some textual elements. You are not restricted to either the source being SQL Server during an export or the destination being SQL Server on the import.
