Starting, Stopping, and Configuring SQL Server Agent

Follow these steps to start, stop, or configure SQL Server Agent:

1.
From the SQL Server Enterprise Manager, click the plus (+) sign next to the server to manage SQL Server Agent.
2.
Click the Management folder.
3.
Right-click the SQL Server Agent icon (see Figure 6.12). From the right-mouse menu, select Start to start the service, select Stop to stop the service, or select Properties (see Figure 6.13) to configure the service.
