Installing SQL Server
Before installing SQL Server, make sure that you have read the documentation regarding installation that ships with SQL Server 2000. Also, make sure that your system meets the minimum requirements. To help you with your installation, use the following worksheet.
NOTE
Before you can install SQL Server 2000, you must install IE 5.0. IE 5.0 is located on the SQL Server CD; select SQL Server Prerequisites from the startup screen from the SQL Server 2000 installation program.
