Q1:When using the SQL Server Manager, what does Pause do?
A1: When you pause SQL Server, current users are allowed to continue to work, but any new logons are denied.
Q2:SQL Server 6.5 had an option used with setup.exe that allowed you to rebuild SQL Server's Registry entries. Does such a thing exist in 2000?
A2: Rebuilding SQL Server's Registry entry is no longer hidden in the setup program. SQL Server setup (installation program) allows you to rebuild the Registry for SQL Server services.
