John Heaton graduated top of his class with a Diploma in Information Technology from Technikon Witwatersrand in South Africa (equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science). He has worked for more than 10 years with Oracle Corporation and has held various positions, including that of a Practice Manager. He had been co-running the North Business Intelligence and Warehouse Consulting practice, delivering business intelligence solutions to Fortune 500 clients.
