Integrating with MDS and SSIS

DQS has the ability to interact with other data movement components: SSIS and Master Data Services (MDS). There is a DQS cleansing component in SSIS that provides a connection to a knowledge base. This component will create a cleansing project for the incoming data stream and will apply the Knowledge Base in the DQ server to the data stream and generate the result. There is also a functionality to apply matching rules on the data in an Excel spreadsheet before loading that data into MDS. In this section, we will explore how to use the interaction of DQS with MDS and SSIS.
