Time for action – creating a Knowledge Base
In this example, we will create a Knowledge Base for address information, and we will create domains for country, city, and address line. And finally, we will create a composite domain for the full address. Perform the following steps:
- Open Data Quality Client and connect to the server.
- Under Knowledge Base Management, click on New Knowledge Base.
- Name the Knowledge Base
Address KB
, leave activity as Domain Management, and click on Next. - In the Domain Management window, create domains by clicking on the Create a Domain icon on the top-left-hand side.
- In the Create Domain window, name domain as
Country
, leave the other settings as they are, and click on OK. - Add these domains: State, City, and Address Line
