After completing this chapter, you will be able to:

  • Assemble an MDX query to retrieve data for a Reporting Services report

  • Employ report parameters to limit data returned from Analysis Services

  • Apply proper formatting and aggregation to data within a report

Reporting Services, Microsoft’s enterprise reporting solution, is distributed as part of the Microsoft SQL Server product suite along with Analysis Services.
