Schemas

All objects within a database are created within a schema. While a schema provides a means to group objects together, a schema also provides a security boundary.

The generic syntax for creating a schema is as follows:

CREATE SCHEMA schema_name AUTHORIZATION owner_name

In the following practice, you will create several schemas that will be used throughout this book.
