Unsupported and Partially Supported Functionality
This section covers the features and utilities that are not compatible with ASD. Most of these limitations simply make sense, due to the cloud-based nature of ASD (such as the absence of filegroups), since they are more tailored toward traditional server infrastructure management.
You can refer to the following list (and the set of MSDN articles found after it in the “References” section) whenever you have a question about ASD feature support. Keep in mind, this list is changing quickly as the Azure platform evolves. Items supported in the next version of ASD (V12) are marked as such below.
