Managing Logins, Users, and Roles

ASD includes support for the same T-SQL login, user, and role-management commands available in standard SQL Server, with some restrictions. In keeping with the other T-SQL commands you learned about earlier in this chapter, you can only execute login and database management statements in the context of the master system database, although you can also create users in the context of other databases as well.
