When any database object is accessed by SQL Server, the access check is cached in an internal structure named access check result cache
. The access check cache bucket count
option controls the number of entries and number of hash buckets used for access check result cache
.
Possible performance gains can be made by changing these options (in rare circumstances). In general, you should leave this one alone.
