What’s New in SSAS

SQL Server 2005 was the big jump into completely redeploying Analysis Services—from the architecture, to the development environment, to the multidimensional languages supported, and even to the wizard-driven deployments. SQL Server 2012 raises this core work up a few more notches with enhancements at almost every part of SSAS and with the addition of major scaleout and in-memory capabilities.
