Understanding SQL Database Editions

SQL Database comes in two editions: Web and Business. The Web edition is targeted at small-to-medium (usually application- or website-specific) data-usage scenarios. It has two maximum size options: 1GB or 5GB. Its maximum size can increased in 1GB increments up to 5GB. The business edition, more appropriate for data supporting multiple applications, starts with a maximum size of 10GB, and can be increased in 10GB increments up to 50GB, then increased again in 50GB increments up to 150GB.
