Setting System-Wide Mail Settings

You use the Configure System Parameters screen in the Database Mail Configuration Wizard to configure the system-wide Database Mail settings. (Click Next on the Select Configuration Task screen to reach this screen, if you haven’t already.) You’ve seen the first two settings that appear in the grid (AccountRetryAttempts and AccountRetryDelay) in an earlier section (“Creating Mail Profiles and Accounts”) as they relate to SMTP failover priority.
