Summary

We learned a lot in this chapter about accessing external databases in a Silverlight RIA included in a SharePoint solution and interacting with workflows. Specifically, we were able to interact with a table in an external data source and we used many of the procedures learned in the previous chapters to work with classic lists. We made the necessary changes to interact with this new type of list and we took advantage of Silverlight 4 Out-of-Browser capabilities to run the RIA in the Windows and/or MAC desktop.
