Workflow and Content Types

When associating workflows with content types you are presented with a few more options. Workflows in SharePoint 2010 are typically managed at the site collection level and any changes made may apply to every instance of a content type. For instance, if you associate a workflow with the Document content type then every library throughout the site collection consuming the Document content type inherits changes to that workflow.
