Importing into Visual Studio

There will be times when SharePoint Designer is not going be able to do everything you need in a workflow. Fortunately your work is not lost; using SharePoint Designer 2010, you can save your workflow as a template that can be imported into Visual Studio 2010. Using the same method as described in the previous section you are able to export a workflow from SharePoint, and then import that workflow into Visual Studio. Use the following steps:
