In this chapter you have seen the power of SharePoint Designer workflows in SharePoint 2010. Whereas in previous versions of SharePoint you would have had to purchase a third-party workflow engine to achieve much of this functionality or get the assistance of a developer, you are now able to create workflows quickly and easily using SharePoint Designer 2010.
Reusable workflows have been long awaited for users of SharePoint Designer, as there was no supported way to copy workflows between lists and libraries in SharePoint 2007. Not only can you now copy between lists in a SharePoint site, you can also save your workflows and copy them to other SharePoint environments.
