Workflow Management Lists

Being able to create reusable workflows or workflow templates enables you to provide your organization with a set of workflows to use anywhere in SharePoint without needing to customize them in SharePoint Designer for each use. There are cases where a single field needs to be changed for a workflow; for example you might want to have an approval workflow on a document library and, depending on the content type being used, a different person is assigned the approval task. This could of course be achieved using If and Else statements in the actual workflow. However, you can manage field changes far more simply by using workflow management lists.
