Adding a New Data Connection

The Laptop Loan Request form currently includes two data connections: Main and Laptop. However, the Laptop data connection only includes the Title and ID fields. To gain access to the rest of the fields in the Laptop list, you need to create a new data connection to list. To add a new data connection to the form, perform these steps:

1. In InfoPath, click the Data tab and in the Get External Data group click the From SharePoint List command.

2. In the Data Connection Wizard, type the location of the SharePoint site (this should default to the current site where you customized the original form), such as http://sharepointrus/sites/company and then click Next.
