Editing List Forms via the Web Interface
Before creating custom list forms in SharePoint Designer, it’s useful to know what can be accomplished via the Web interface. In SharePoint 2010, there are several options for editing existing list forms in the browser. For one, the Customize List group within the List tab of the ribbon includes an option for editing the new, display, and edit list forms. Additionally, if you have created list forms specific to content types then those forms are also shown in the edit form drop-down selector as shown in Figure 25.11.
